It’s really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, and that’s because it will be here in just a few days. For me, aside from the obvious, I associate Christmas with chocolates and oh do I indulge myself, all season long! Which leads me to today’s spa bridal shower theme!
A chocolate lover’s Mani-Pedi bridal shower.
This spread includes a soak, sugar scrub, mask, lotion and massage oil which are rich in chocolate. They are made with cocoa butter, cocoa powder and smell wonderfully chocolatey. Doesn’t it look good enough to eat? If you are into chocolate, then THIS is right up your alley! And if you are not, we have many more spa shower themes planned, so be on the look out.
You can create this chocolate spread easily for the bride by following the steps below and you can download this ‘A chocolate lover’s Mani-Pedi bridal shower treat by Angel Minaro PDF’ as well to browse and create at your leisure. If you are a bride and would love something like this, why not forward this to your maid of honor as a possible shower idea 😉 .

Pictured above is a cleansing soak. To create this, add some bubbling chocolate powder soak into a plastic wine glass, top with some coarse Dead Sea salts , and add a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
On the top left is some chocolate sugar scrub with cocoa powder sprinkled on top, on the top right is a detoxifying mask that consists of white clay on the bottom and chocolate mask on top of that.
Doesn’t it just look inviting?
Creating this is simple. The clay and chocolate mask come in a powder form, just add a bit of water a little at a time to the white clay in a bowl and mix until you get a mousse like consistency. In general, mix 1 and 1/2 teaspoons full of mask or clay with 1 teaspoonful of water. You can play around with this until you come up with the consistency you want. Put the resulting mixture in the serving bowl. Do the same with the chocolate mask, in a separate bowl and add the resulting mixture on top of the white clay mixture in the serving bowl, then sprinkle with some white clay powder on the chocolate mixture to top it off.
Pictured in between the scrub and mask, is some moisturizing chocolate lotion with yet some more cocoa powder sprinkled on top. This is not for the faint of heart!!!
Here we have a shot of the bubbling soak, and on the right is some chocolate oil in a plastic wine glass (isn’t that a contradiction?) rimmed with the chocolate mask.
To make the chocolate oil, add 1 cup olive oil into a measuring cup and then add 1/2 a teaspoonful of cocoa powder. You may add more if you want a really dark oil. Mix well.
To rim the glass, mix some chocolate mask with some water in a bowl wide enough to fit the rim of the plastic wine glass. Then dip the rim in the clay mixture as deep as you want the clay rim to be, then take it out and leave to dry for about 10 minutes. Once dry, put the chocolate oil into the rimmed plastic wine glass.
