Vanilla pumpkin mask

This is a quick and easy mask to make that hydrates the skin while gently exfoliating the skin to reveal healthy glowing skin. It can be used all over the body from head to toe and is therefore great for facials, and especially fun for manicures and pedicures. Incorporating this as one of the activities for a spa bridal shower is a really great idea.

Ingredients:
The quantities below are enough for a facial treatment, but you can definitely scale up if you want enough for a body treatment.

2 Tablespoons of honey
2 Teaspoons of peeled and mashed pumpkin
1/3 Vanilla bean
Water as desired

Method:
Add the honey and mashed pumpkin into a bowl. Split and scrape the inside of the vanilla bean. Add into bowl and mix until well blended. If mixture is too thick, add water until desired consistency is achieved.

How to use:
After cleansing and exfoliating the face, apply a generous amount of mask on to face using fingertips or a facial brush, carefully avoiding the delicate eye area. Sit back and relax for 10 minutes, let the ingredients soak into the skin and do their job. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with moisturizer.

Benefits:
Pumpkins contain enzymes which help to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells, while honey hydrates and cleanses the skin.

This mask is perfect for unleashing a youthful glow.
