Avocados are rich in vitamins, especially A, B and E, it also has a high oil content which makes it highly nourishing and moisturizing to the skin. Honey hydrates and cleanses the skin. All you need to make this mask are 1/4 of an avocado and 1 teaspoon of honey. Spoon out the flesh of the avocado and put in a bowl. Add the honey and mix well with a fork. If the mask is too thick, add a little bit of water or other mixer to get it to the right consistency.
You can personalize this mask further to suit your skin type or issue by adding the ingredients below:
Dry Skin – add 1 teaspoon of yogurt or cream to increase the level of moisturization of the skin.
Mature Skin – add 1 teaspoon of carrot juice which is great for rejuvenating aging skin.
Oily Skin – add 1 teaspoon of lemon or citrus juices to help tone down the shine.
How to use: After cleansing your face, apply this nourishing mask and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water or a moist warm towel then apply a toner to balance and restore the natural pH of the skin. Then apply your moisturizer.
