My Carrot Shake Recipe – Healthy, tasty and refreshing.

Carrot juice

 

Recipe (Serves 1 or 2):

Ingredients
2 Carrots
2 Tablespoons of cream(optional – if you want it creamy)
2 Cups of whole milk (can substitute with 2% milk)
Fine powder sugar to taste
1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla flavoring

Method
1.Wash the carrots and scrape off the skin.
2.Chop them into little pieces and the put them in a food processor or blender with a bit off water and blend.
3.Strain completely with strainer to get all of the nutritious juice and then discard the pulp.
4.Put the carrot juice in the blender, add the milk, cream, sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla flavoring and blend again.
5.Add some crushed ice and serve.
