South American Inspired skincare – Buriti and Coconut milk moisture creme!

You probably know by now that I love formulating spa and skin care products. In creating the Angel Minaro product line, I sourced and incorporated ingredients from all over the world to create a unique and exotic line of products.

Today’s featured ingredient

Burití - Palmenfrucht, AmazonasThe Buriti fruit is also known as moriche palm fruit. It is a palm tree that grows in tropical South America. The fruit has a yellow flesh which is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin C and is a rich source of beta-carotene. The flesh is edible and is used to make juice and wine (my favorite)!

The buriti fruit oil which is used in the formulation of the Buriti and coconut milk moisture creme is reddish orange in color, it is a potent anti-oxidant, soothes the skin, nourishes, moisturizes and improves the elasticity of the skin. It is awesome for sensitive, mature and dry skin. It is also excellent in soothing burnt skin.

This exotic moisture creme also contains coconut milk which softens and moisturizes the skin blended together with fruit extracts, silk, illipe butter and avocado oil which makes this creme great for nourishing the skin.

The finished product is yellow to light orange in color, naturally due to the color of the buriti oil.

The Buriti and coconut milk moisture creme is one of my favorites because it not only smells wonderful, it sinks right into the skin, and the combination of natural ingredients nourish and nurture the skin, improve its elasticity to reveal beautiful supple skin.
