Home Spa Ritual: Soothing and moisturizing Vitamin E salt soak!

bath salt and palm leaf This months spa ritual is a Soothing Vitamin E salt soak!

Easy to make and very beneficial to the body and mind!

Ingredients and Preparation:
2 cups of Epsom salts,
2 tablespoon of vitamin e oil,
1 tablespoon of glycerin

Mix ingredients together in bowl and add to warm running bath water!

You can modify this soak by adding an essential oil like lavender which is very relaxing and relieves stress, you can swap the vitamin e oil with coconut oil  which is highly moisturizing and is great for very dry or sensitive skin, or you could modify it into a milk bath by adding whole milk powder which is soothing to the skin, and since it is rich in vitamins and minerals, is nourishing as well!

The possibilities are endless!

Epsom salts help to draw out toxins from the body, it also helps to reduce swellings, helps to ease tension, pains and strains.
Vitamin E oil is good anti-oxidant which helps to protect the skin from free radicals which destroy skin cells and cause aging. It is also highly soothing and moisturizing and is a very good skin healing agent.
Glycerin softens and soothes the skin, and helps the skin retain moisture.
