What’s that saying? A glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away (okay maybe two)!!
Wine is made from grapes which are full of nourishing vitamins and minerals, and so in addition to having a glass of wine which is good for the soul, grape seed is used a lot in skincare. Grape seed oil is one of the go to oils for massage therapy especially because in addition to how nourishing it is, it helps to maintain the elasticity of the skin. It is also rich in antioxidants which are very good for dry and aging skin, and is the reason it is found in a lot of anti-aging creams or lotions.
This week I made a whole bunch of mani-pedi sample kits which are on their way to various spas around the country. It is one of our many spa rituals. This one is called the
This ritual consists of a skin softening foot soak, exfoliating scrub, conditioning masque, moisturizing lotion and massage oil namely: Chardonnay Silk bath bubbles, Chardonnay Silk body scrub, Chardonnay Silk antioxidant masque, Chardonnay Silk body lotion, and Chardonnay Luxury body oil. Can I say V-I-N-O-T-H-E-R-A-P-Y?
The ritual is pretty awesome because the silk bubbles contain coconut milk which softens the skin, as chardonnay grape seed oil rich in antioxidants helps to fight the signs of aging, nourishes, caresses and moisturizes it. Hawaiian alaea salts detoxify and silk proteins help to keep the skin supple.
Ultra nourishing Argan oil, Shea butter, olive oil and silk proteins moisturize and maintain the elasticity of the skin.
Soooooo, fancy having a ‘Total Chardonnay mani-pedi’ while sipping on some wine?? Now that’s what I call Vinotherapy!! Oh go on, you know you want to. Don’t forget, you’ll have more fun if you take a friend.
